Non-Executive Chair

I have accumulated a vast amount of experience over the past 25 years working within the Financial Services, Mining, Government, Non-profit and Professional Services industries.

The experience I have gained, more specifically working in Government, has provided me with an excellent understanding of the complexities surrounding policy development and transformational change initiatives. In my roles with both the Department of Labour and Transport, I was involved in many critical projects and initiatives whereby I was required to drive policy changes and contribute to the upliftment of long-term strategic changes within these critical departments.

I have also been involved in lobbying and advocacy across the continent, working with stakeholders on highly complex projects that required my specialist involvement. This exposure has presented me with a unique vantage point to understand regional politics on the continent, and further affording me with a wealth of contacts and strategic relationships.

My stakeholder relations experience, both locally and internationally, provided me with an opportunity to work with decision makers of all levels within major global institutions. I have attained extensive experience across a myriad of functional areas such as strategy formulation, communications, marketing corporate social investments, stakeholder relations, black economic empowerment (BEE), administration, infrastructure, governance and policy development as well as upliftment of the broader African continent.

I have a natural ability to bring together and develop highly motivated teams and is operationally highly astute, continuously ensuing cost effective utilisation of operational budgets, assets, implementations and adherence to organisational practices.
